T. A. F. I. 2023 Youth River Interpro championship

The Kells Anglers Association will be hosting the T. A. F. I. 2023 Youth River Interpro championship on the 16th of September 2023. This is a big event for the club and it is great to see the junior anglers out on the river. These are the future of the sport and should be encouraged in every way. T. A. F. I. 2023 Youth River Interpro championship postponed till 16th of September.
River venue is Kells Blackwater, Kells Co. Meath. Practice on river closes midnight 9th of September.

T.A.F.I Leinster River Youths Qualifier

Leinster youth river qualifier will be held on the 20th of July 2019 and the Venue will be the River Blackwater in Kell’s, Co. Meath, kindly hosted by the Kell’s Angling club.

Entry fee: €20. Meeting at Maudlin Bridge for 8:30 – 9am sharp. (53.735883, -6.868756) These are co-ordinates for Google maps or Sat Navs just enter them in.

Fishing: Session 1: 10:00-12:30pm & Session 2: 2:00-4:30pm

Food, Results and Prize given will be after end of competition venue will be stated on morning of competition at registration.

Anglers to provide their own pack lunches for break in between sessions.

Rules:

All hooks must be Barbless.
Only Maximum of 3 rods to be set up.
Maximum 3 flies to be fished at any one time.
Minimum size: 18cm to tip of the tail.
Only brown trout to count.
All anglers must provide a controller (18yrs+). Name of angler and controller to be with Mark Driver (0860349273) by the 15th of April.

Entry fee to be given on morning of competition at meeting point.
